From a young age, I’ve been drawn to clean lines, natural light and the beauty found in everyday scenes. These instincts still guide my work today and shape the way I compose every image. When people ask me to describe my style, I always return to one idea: authenticity.
I aim to capture people as they truly are—natural, relaxed and unposed. My goal is to create timeless images while remaining as unobtrusive as possible.

⭐ My Journey Into Professional Photography

Born and raised in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, I originally studied entrepreneurship and leisure management, taking photography classes purely out of passion. Everything changed in 2008 when I moved to Curaçao. What began as a hobby quickly became a full-time career as I immersed myself in professional photography—learning, experimenting and mastering high-end equipment.

I describe my approach as journalistic. Using my trusted Nikon 70–200mm lens, I capture moments candidly from a distance so people feel comfortable and natural. This allows me to document events and emotions without interrupting them—whether I’m photographing people, celebrations or the stunning landscape of Noosa Heads and the Sunshine Coast.

Travel has played a major role in shaping my eye and my creativity. I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings and events in Holland, America, Curaçao and throughout the Caribbean.
Since relocating to Australia in 2017, I’m proud to offer my services to the thriving communities of Noosa Heads and the Sunshine Coast, capturing the unique lifestyle and beauty of this region.
